Rehoming is as old as adoption. There are even facebook pages devoted to it (second chance adoptions, e.g.). I'm an adoptee and I struggle with being adopted, but I cannot even imagine being rehomed, then to find out it was publicized all over the web. Triple trauma for kids in these situations.
